Thank you for telling us about the materials you’re considering for the Archives of the Impossible.

What happens next?

All potential donations are reviewed in partnership with the Woodson Research Center to ensure they align with the Center for the Impossible’s mission, Woodson’s collecting priorities, and the practical considerations of space, preservation, and processing capacity.

Because these collections require careful long-term stewardship, we cannot guarantee acceptance of every offer. But we are always open to the conversation—and to helping prospective donors understand what kinds of materials may be a strong fit.

Collections particularly well suited to the Center often include personal papers, research archives, interviews, correspondence, case files, photographs, audio/visual materials, and other documentation related to anomalous experience, UAP encounter research, or the broader cultural history of the impossible.

A member of our team will review the information you’ve shared and follow up about possible next steps.

And yes, around here, “You’re going to think this is strange…” is a perfectly respectable way to begin a conversation.
